No funding available for creation of local MS position

The Seanad has heard there is no specific funding allocation available for the creation of a MS support worker locally.

Currently, there over 300 known people in Sligo-Leitrim currently live with the condition.

However, despite this, the region does not have a dedicated MS support worker.

Labour Senator Nessa Cosgrove says the role needs to be filled:
