A new teaching degree to be rolled out at Athlone IT in September of 2022 will be the first of its kind for school leavers in the region.
The four-year undergraduate degree will be delivered at the Athlone IT campus and at the DCU Faculty of Engineering.
There's no programme available presently in the northern half of the country for school leavers interested in teaching technology, engineering and communications graphics at the second level.
