A new two hour parking limit comes into effect on Main Street in Roscommon this week.
The move comes in a bid to facilitate more on street parking for shoppers in the town while easing pressure on street traders.
No bye laws have been introduced however Councillor Marty McDermott is urging drivers to obey the new parking limits.
