The nationalist event planned for the Mayflower Community Centre in Drumshanbo will not go ahead at that venue.
The community centre said: "On behalf of Mayflower Community Centre CLG we regretfully wish to inform the public that the upcoming ‘Mise Éire’ festival due to be held on 23rd August 2025 will NOT be hosted at the Mayflower Community Centre."
Hundreds of people signed a petition calling for the event to be cancelled.

Over 400 tickets had been sold for the event.
It’s understood efforts will now be made to find a new venue to host the event.
Castlerea John Waters and Stephen Kerr, from Co Mayo, are among the speakers.
