The N5 in Frenchpark, Co Roscommon, has been closed after a serious crash this evening.
Gardai and emergency services are at the scene.
The crash involved a lorry and a pedestrian, and diversions are in place.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon.
"The collision occurred at the junction of the N5 and R361 at approximately 4:45pm this afternoon.
"The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place."
