A section of the N4 is expected to remain closed for a number of hours following a crash this morning.
Gardaí and Emergency services are currently at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision near Multyfarnham in County Westmeath.
It’s not yet known if anyone has been seriously injured but the road is currently closed between Mullingar and Edgeworthstown and local diversions are in place.

The crash took place after 8 o’clock this morning and motorists are urged to expect delays if using the route.
