A multi million euro historical estate owned by the son of a former local Taoiseach has hit the market.
Clonhugh Desmesne in Multyfarnam, off the N4, is being sold at a guide price of 8 million euro.
Philip Reynolds, son of well known local former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, has put the home on the market this week.
The estate forms much of the former land of Lord Greville, a tory MP for Westmeath in the 1800s.
Included in the property is a cinema, a swimming pool and stables and features frontage onto Lough Owel.
Phillip Reynolds is a well known local businessman who ran the C&D Pet food factory in Longford for many years.
He now chairs the popular parcel locker company OohPod.
The estate is being handled by property agents Savills.
