27 people waiting at Mullingar ED as hospital urges public to stay away again today

Mullingar hospital is reported to be very busy again today with a total of 27 people waiting on trolleys in the emergency department for admission to beds there.

Notices have been issued twice this week already asking people not to attend at the facility unless absolutely necessary.

There are 15 people waiting for beds in Cavan hospital and 13 are on trolleys in Sligo.

There are also 13 people on trolleys at Tullamore hospital today.
