Mpox travelling fast as it strikes the United Kingdom

There are fears a new strain of mpox is already in the UK after emerging first in Africa. The clade 1b strain has been confirmed in Sweden and is thought to be the most dangerous so far.

Symptoms include a fever and a painful rash which produces blisters. Professor Yvonne Gilleece, chair of the British HIV association, says it's a worldwide problem.
