Gardaí in Westmeath have appealed for witnesses to a weekend crash involving a motorcyclist.
The incident involving a motorcycle and car occurred on Main Street in Rochfortbridge on Saturday evening.
The motorcyclist was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore for treatment. It's understood he remains in a critical condition.

Whereas, Main Street remained sealed off for a number of hours to facilitate a technical examination.
Indeed, any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling through Rochfortbridge between 5:15pm and 5:45pm are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
