The HSE's being urged to turn a large amount of land behind Roscommon Hospital into a car park.
Fianna Fáil councillor Marty McDermott says people have to park nearly 500 metres away now because of space problems.
He wants Roscommon County Council to write to the Health Minister and the HSE about the issue.
