A minute’s silence was observed at a Boyle Municipal District meeting this afternoon, in memory of a brother of the cathaoirleach of Roscommon County Council.
Ollie Callaghan died peacefully at the Mater Hospital in Dublin recently.
He lived in Ratoath, Co Meath, but is originally from Rathmoyle in Co Roscommon.
He went to Dublin as a young man to work as a plumber.
