The Minister for Rural and Community Development will visit Leitrim today to officially open a number of projects.
Dara Calleary will start off his trip to the North West in Mohill where he will examine work on the Mohill Old Station House that is being refurbished through funding from his department.
From there, he will officially open the Mohill Public Realm Improvement Scheme.
The €3.7 million upgrade of the town includes pedestrian crossings, new road surfaces, lighting and street furniture.
The Rural Regeneration Minister will then travel to Carrick on Shannon, Leitrim Village and Drumshanbo for various official openings and events including the Market Yard in Carrick, the Leitrim Village Diversity and Inclusion Project and the Mayflower Community Centre in Drumshanbo.
