Approximately 2,000 litres of milk has overflowed at a Roscommon dairy plant.
The Aurivo Milk Processing Plant in Ballaghadereen suffered the technical issue over the weekend following a system failure in the upper limit probe.
The milk overflowed from onsite tanks on last Saturday evening, with the issue resolved minutes after occurring.

In a statement to Shannonside FM news, Aurivo says the overflow was contained in a retention tank and has now been removed for treatment.
