A meeting in Boyle has heard that 77% of children aged under 4 are currently unable to access childcare services. The Boyle Community Childcare Committee held a public meeting this morning to highlight the lack of childcare in the town.
There is currently only one full time childcare facility in Boyle which is at full capacity. The chairperson of the committee, Dr Christina Egan Marnell, says action must be taken to address the problem:
