The man in his 60s who was killed in a road traffic collision in County Westmeath on Wednesday has been named. Christopher Dedera, who was from Texas in the US, passed away at Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
The two-vehicle collision occurred near Ballinalack at around 4.20 pm on Wednesday. The driver of the other vehicle, a woman in her 60s, is being treated for serious injuries.
