A man has been arrested after 45,000 worth of cannabis was seized in Cavan town yesterday.
The man, who's in his early 50s, will appear in Court later.
Shortly before 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Gardaà carried out a search of a house in the Latt area of Cavan town.

Suspected cannabis herb worth in the region of €40,000 and suspected cannabis plants worth €4,800 were discovered.
The man was arrested at the scene and was taken for questioning to Cavan Garda Station.
He has since been charged in relation to the seizure and is to appear in Court in Virginia later this morning.]
