A man in his 40s has died in a crash involving a crane and two vans in Offaly.
It happened on the R401 at Drumcooly outside Edenderry at about 6.15 this morning.
The driver of one of the vans was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other van driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The road has been closed for a technical examination of the scene - and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
