A man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with a crash in which a woman in her 50s was killed in Cork.
It happened just after 1 o'clock this morning, when a number of pedestrians were hit by a car in the village of Ballingeary.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others in their 40s are being treated for serious injuries.

A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Bandon Garda Station.
