A man has been arrested in Longford following a traffic stop by local Gardaí earlier this week.
The motorist was stopped in Ballymahon by the Longford Roads policing unit.
On investigation, he was found to have no license or insurance and the vehicle did not have a valid NCT.

Gardaí also administered a road side drugs test, which detected cocaine in the drivers system.
The car was seized and the man was arrested, with court proceedings to follow.
