A man has been arrested after reportedly brandishing a knife on the ATU campus in Sligo. It's reported he threatened passers-by at the university, before being apprehended by Gardaí at around 2 o'clock this afternoon.
No injuries were reported, and the man is being detained at Sligo Garda Station. ATU Sligo Student Union President, Jeremiah Egberonge says the situation was dealt with quickly.
