A man and a woman arrested earlier this week following a major drug seizure in Roscommon have been remanded in custody following a court appearance.
The two appeared before Strokestown District Court yesterday evening charged with the possession and cultivation of Cannabis worth over half a million euro.
As part of Operation Tara, Gardaí searched a premises in Ballaghaderreen on Monday afternoon, discovering a sophisticated grow house operation.

A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s were arrested at the scene and were originally held at Castlerea Garda Station, before being remanded in custody in court yesterday.
The investigation is ongoing.
