A major power outage is being reported in Athlone this lunchtime.
According to the ESB's power check app, over 2100 customers are affected after a fault was reported near the N6 at Baylough just after midday.
It's understood several businesses are without electricity as a result.

The ESB estimates that power will be restored at 4pm today.
