A major multi-million euro investment has been confirmed for a Leitrim Secondary School.
Mohill Community College is to receive funding to develop a number of new classrooms, including, a SET, music, graphics, technology and prep room.
A new SEN base and a user assisted toilet will also be installed.
Sligo-Leitrim TD Frank Feighan is welcoming the announcement, he hopes work on procurement can be advanced as soon as possible with work getting under way in 2023.
"There will be an addition of seven rooms to the campus building. This is good news for the community in Mohill and the wider South Leitrim area and only a few months ago we had another huge investment in higher education and again, I hope that works get underway quickly. I want to congratulate the school principal and the board of management on their successful application".
