Longford senator calls for tighter control of local badger population

A Longford senator has called for tighter management on the badger population in the local area.

Speaking in the Seanad on Wednesday, Joe Flaherty said there is a huge problem with TB in the country.

Senator Flaherty said badgers are a huge problem for farmers and they need to be controlled.

He says Longford suffers from this problem the most.
