A Longford secondary school has been announced national winners at this year's Green Schools Awards ceremony.
Pupils from Mercy Secondary School Ballymahon created a video highlighting effective ways to save and conserve water.
They received the top prize at a ceremony held in Dublin earlier this week which is in association with An Taisce.

Over 550 schools took part in the competition this year with judges selecting Mercy Ballymahon for their exceptional leadership in inspiring their community to value water resources.
