Longford parkrun will celebrate it's ninth anniversary tomorrow morning with a special event.
The popular morning event was set up by local teacher Kevin Kane in 2016 and operates in the Albert Reynolds Peace Park every Saturday from 9.30am.
The 5km route caters for runners and walkers of all abilities and has welcomed thousands of visitors from across the country and the world over its nine years.

Parkruns take place weekly across the Shannonside region and are designed to foster a sense of community and encourage participation in physical activity.
