Longford has had the joint lowest amount of publicly funded athletics projects in the country in the last five years.
The Dáil released the numbers last Wednesday.
Minister of State at the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport Charlie McConalogue revealed that Longford alongside Laois have had just one athletics project funded by the government since 2020.
