County Longford has been included in a status yellow high temperature warning for 12 counties for the coming days as heatwave conditions hit the country.
The warning also includes Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
It will come into place at 1pm tomorrow and will remain in place until 7am on Sunday.

Met Éireann said maximum temperatures will be in excess of 27C combined with overnight temperature minimums in excess of 15C.
They are warning of uncomfortable sleeping conditions as well as heat stress.
