Longford hosts fundraising event for St Christopher's Special School

A fundraising event for St Christopher's Special Needs School is taking place in Longford town today.

The event is also being used to raise awareness of autism with a pop up shop opening at Grafton Court at 10 am.

There will also be a number of fun events taking place across the town throughout the day.

Organiser Ann O'Leary says it's for a very worthy cause.

She says she's raised over €30,000 for St Christopher's in thelast decade.
