Large crowds gathered at the offices of Longford County Council on Wednesday evening for the annual local Garda Youth Awards.
The awards celebrate outstanding young people aged between 13 and 21, recognising the good work they do across their communities.
Four awards are handed out on the night: individual, group, special achievement and community safety.
