Gardaí are investigating two incidents of suspected criminal damage by fire which occurred yesterday evening,
The first incident occured just before 9 pm last night at a residence on the Athlone Road in Longford.
No occupants were reported to be in the house.

The second incident happened at 10:20pm at the same address in the town.
No one was injuired in both incidents.
Technical examination are due to be conducted.

Enquiries are ongoing by Longford gardai into both attacks.
