Gardaí in Longford are appealing for witnesses after a suspected incident of criminal damage saw a car destroyed over the weekend. Emergency services were called to the Lisbrack Road at 1.30am on Sunday after a car was reported to be on fire. The vehicle was extinguished and no one was injured in the incident.
Gardaí are now investigating the incident as suspected criminal damage and removed the vehicle for a technical examination. Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicious to contact the local Garda station.
