Longford GAA have announced plans to form a new steering committee to deliver a one million euro centre of excellence in the county.
Speaking at the draw for the 2025 Longford GAA Championships in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park last night, County Chair Derek Fahy says the group will be formed early next month.
Longford GAA purchased 32 acres of land alongside the county ground in 2023 for the provision of a centre of excellence for the development of future generations of players.
Speaking during Sportsbeat last night, the County Chair says that a round table discussion on the project will be held on the 9th of June.
