A Longford Councillor is calling for a detailed county wide map of Emergency Defibrillator Stations to be put together.
Councillor Martin Monaghan says quick access to AEDs can save lives across the country.
Speaking at a recent meeting of Longford County Council, Councillor Monaghan says a highly detailed map, including the Eircode of each station, would help locals access their nearest AED in case of an emergency.

Follow a motion to the local authority, Longford County Council will now write to the Minister for Health to request that the maps be provided in every county.
