A special celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day is to take place in Longford tonight.
The ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm at the Memorial Garden in Great Water Street, where a chain of solidarity will be formed by members of the local Ukrainian Community.
Later at 8:45 pm, the local Ukrainian choir will perform by candlelight on the outside steps of St Mel's Cathedral.
