A centre for refugees in Boyle has closed down.
Egan's Townhouse in Green Street shut down with immediate effect last week.
It opened in 2023 and accommodated around 18 refugees.
Local Fine Gael councillor Liam Callaghan says he learned about the news last week, from Roscommon County Council.
A group called Boyle Concerned Locals opposed the centre opening in 2023.
Jane Suffin is a member of the group - she says the closure is good news for the town.
