Local TD welcomes extension of national bowel screening programme

It was announced this week that BowelScreen will now include people from the age of 58.

A local Fianna Fáil TD and GP has welcomed the extension the national bowel screening programme. It was announced this week that BowelScreen will now include people from the age of 58.

This means an additional 60,000 people will benefit from the programme. Roscommon-Galway TD Martin Daly says it will lead to earlier diagnosis of cancer:
