A local TD says it's concerning that the dispute over a new surgical hub for the North-West has turned into a 'Sligo VS Donegal issue.'
The surgical facility is in the works, but there is an ongoing row over which regional hospital will benefit from the addition.
The issue has been described as a 'grubby deal' by Donegal TD Pearse Doherty, as a definitive decision is yet to be announced by Health Minister Jennifer Caroll MacNeill.
