A local TD says Carrick on Shannon needs a bypass to thrive and grow. Sligo-Leitrim Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan raised the issue with Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien in the Dáil yesterday. The project is due to go to planning by the end of this year and be finished around 2030.
