A local TD says an 'apology without justice' for abuse victims would be 'empty'.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin told the Dail yesterday evening the childhood abuse suffered by those in State bodies was ‘harrowing, heartbreaking and wrong’.
Survivors of institutional abuse will receive a medical card, dedicated health liaison officers, and an annual education grant of 600 euro as part of the State's formal apology to them.
