A local TD has repeated calls for the implementation of two reports into maternity services at Portiuncula University Hospital. Fianna Fáil TD Martin Daly made the call following confirmation that there are five reviews currently ongoing into the care of women and their babies at the hospital.
The Head of the HSE Bernard Gloster told an Oireachtas Committee these are expected to be completed before the end of March. Seven reviews have been completed and the recommendations shared with families.
