A Fine Gael TD says he's disappointed the Children's Minister didn't announce a much-needed family resource centre for Longford town today.
Norma Foley visited Attic House - the planned building for the centre.
She said her department would decide in the coming weeks whether to fund it.
She said it's one of around 50 applications nationwide made for a family resource centre - with only 10 to be successful this time.
