A local TD and GP has welcomed news that a paid leave scheme for public health workers with Long Covid is being extended.
It follows a Labour Court recommendation to extend paid leave for affected healthcare workers.
The current scheme, which supports 159 staff, was due to expire on Sunday - but has been extended until the end of the year.
