Students from across the Shannonside Region are gearing up to try and win this year's Stripe Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition.
Today marks the opening day of the event with President Catherine Connolly set to officially kick off proceedings later.
More than 200 prizes will be up for grabs, including a place in the EU Contest for Young Scientists for the overall winner.

This year's event is sponsored by Stripe which was founded by former Young Scientist winner Patrick Collison.
