Irish Rail has confirmed that a supplier has been identified to restore catering services on the Sligo-Dublin train line.
The travel company says it's working on funding to restore the catering trolley service on trains.
The carts were removed at the start of the pandemic, and while the service has since been restored to other routes, it is still not available on board the Sligo to Dublin Connolly line.
Sligo-Leitrim senator Nessa Cosgrove says she will continue to push for a timeline in the coming months:
