A local senator says domestic-abusers should be kicked out of their homes - not their victims. Labour's Nessa Cosgrove says gardai were called to 65,000 domestic-abuse incidents last year. But she told the Seanad that doesn't reflect the problem, as 40 per cent of victims don't seek help.
She also says Leitrim is one of nine counties without a refuge - and called for other action also:
