A local school principal says she fully supports school secretaries and caretakers in their industrial action.
Una Feeley is the head teacher at St Comán's Wood Primary School in Roscommon town.
She says the strike has impacted the start of the school year but she understands the reasons behind it.
It comes as the main teaching unions joined forces to call for urgent talks to end the action.
