A Roscommon priest says he doesn't wear his collar in Dublin or any big town because he could be shouted at over clerical sex-abuse scandals. Canon Liam Devine was speaking ahead of a celebration Mass in St Paul's Church in Kilmurry on Friday night at 8.30.
It will mark the 55th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. 10 of his Leaving Cert classmates joined seminaries - and Canon Devine has been reflecting on the sharp drop in vocations recently.
