Local politicians react to HSE Capital Plan for 2025

Several Shannonside projects feature including the construction of a rehabilitation unit and a replacement adult mental health unit at Roscommon University Hospital.

Local TDs have been reacting to HSE's Capital Plan for 2025, which was unveiled by Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill earlier today. Several Shannonside projects feature including the construction of a rehabilitation unit and a replacement adult mental health unit at Roscommon University Hospital. Construction of a 90-bed community nursing unit in Carrick-on-Shannon and the 50-bed unit at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Roscommon are also included. Funding will also be provided for the refurbishment of St Joseph's Care Centre in Longford. Longford Westmeath Fine Gael TD Micheál Carrigy says while the planned investment in the St Joseph's campus

in Longford Town is welcome, it's time to increase services on site:
